MLM Success Tips
The first thing you must do to start off any business is to write
down your goals. If you have written goals it is easy to see
if you are heading in the right direction accomplishing those goals.
You will also want to come up with a plan on how to accomplish your
goals. This will work for MLM or any kind of business.
Stop waiting for everything to be exactly right to start your business.
IT NEVER WILL! So start now with whatever you have. As things
progress everything else will fall into place.
Remember rejection is normal. For every 20 people you contact,
expect 19 of them to be No. If you realize this, the rejections
shouldn't bother you as much. Realize they are not rejecting YOU.
They are simply rejecting an idea. Move on, be persistent, ignore
the rejections, and you will get more than enough "yes's"
to build your business. Also, remember to treat your MLM or Network
Marketing business as a serious, full-time business. If you treat
it as a business, you will have a much greater chance at success.
Following up with prospects. This is just as important,
if not more important than the initial contact. If a person has
not joined your program yet, following up with more exciting news
or information just might be enough to convince them to join. It
may take following up 3 to 5 times. Don't give up!
Be patient. That doesn't mean to do nothing; it means have
patients for the business as it grows slowly. Your first six months
in a Multi-level Marketing business you will get compensated the
least. The big income never happens overnight. It takes time and
lots of hard work and energy. Network marketing is a numbers game.
You make the most money after you have shown your sponsored people
how to do what you have accomplished.
In the beginning, be willing to invest more than what you get out
of your business. Do not quit. Contact your up-line or the staff
of the company you are involved in and get their help and suggestions
of how to grow your business.
Ask potential business members for thier opinions on the opportunity.
This is a good way to find out what objections they might have to
joining your program. This also gives you the opportunity to overcome
those objections and sponsor them.
Make a plan for each week. Know what activities you are going to
do to move the business forward. Set goals each week. If you don't
plan, you plan to fail. You must stick with your plan to have success.
Do not make excuses; it will destroy your business.
Don't fall into the trap of thinking that if you mail out a few
brochures or that by contacting a few people money will start pouring
in. It just doesn't work that way. It takes time, effort, and planning.
Expect to work the business for 1 to 3 years before seeing a substantial
income. Think of your first 6 months as a training period.
Show your down-line how to do the work themselves. If you do the
work for them, they will not learn to do it independently. This
will create a huge problem and you'll run yourself thin.
Think big. Small thinking produces small results. Big thinking
produces big results. It sounds simple, but it must be put into
practice.
Keep communication open with your down-line. Stay in touch
with everyone in your business regularly. Make it daily for your
key people. There are tons of methods you can use: Voice chat webpage,
newsletters, meetings, email, phone, etc. Always stay enthusiastic!!!
The most important thing is to have fun. People can't resist
having a good time. If your having fun, people will cling to you
and will be eager to join your business.
